Hi, your results are remarkable. I am now on the raw diet...started about two weeks ago. I have the same issue with large pores and rosacea. My pores may be even larger however...really hoping to see some improvement. I was wondering if you could share what a typical day as far as raw meals is for you. I'm running into the problem that I'm always hungry and I was a bit underweight to begin with so I don't want to lose any more weight either. I've been eating very large salads with Romaine, spinach, arugula, and sometimes variations with red onion, carrots, and cucumbers, and sunflower seeds. I have also been juicing a lot of greens and fruits, as well as making smoothies. Any input you can give as far as what I should be eating would be helpful. Thank you so much for sharing :)
did you ever experience any detox break out symptoms? I've been toying around with the raw food diet for about three months now but have never actually properly stuck to it - I still eat loads of bread and very sugary snacks etc. recently, I've been juicing a lot more and have been sticking to it more, and my skin has gotten WORSE! my whole face has broken out in red dots and bumps and white heads in places I've never had before. I'm wondering if it's possible that my skin is finally purging all of its bad stuff, what do you reckon? xx

just found this blog and i'm so inspired. I love seeing the before and after of people on raw but this is the best by far! I'm trying to handle some food allergies and intolerance (gluten, dairy, soy, sugar) by going raw and hopefully getting my skin healthy. I will be referring back to this blog for a while. :)My biggest issue is trying to decide what to eat. all I really want to eat is cucumbers and green juice all day, and I know that's not enough.
Hmm... interesting article! I'm suffering of Rosacea and I want to follow a treatment or something to get rid of this annoying problem! It's interesting that a vegan diet is really good! I will follow a pigmentation removal in Toronto treatment and I hope that it will be good, if not, I will start eating healthy foods!
been suggested as a cause for Rosacea.This assessment would seem like a logical one since increased blood flow to the facial area must be present for Rosacea to manifest. However, direct links to a condition of irregular blood flow would be speculative at best.Skin bacteria is also considered a potential cause of Rosacea. This theory also comes with a sense of logic since bacteria in the skin can contribute to the onset of acne and Rosacea is much like acne.

Hello! My rosacea is horrible..... I get the redness, the small pustules ( like acne) and to top it off it has been in full blast since January :(I see the dermatologist May 8th; sine January I have faithfully used metrogel ....... No success! Anyway, I am at my wits end.......... I am already having a green smoothie a day but may benefit from further increasing of a raw diet.......... Just want this to be tamed and of course stay healthy .......... Ugh!
Hi Pam I've got to say that i've just come across your blog and I am so so much more at ease that i can get my skin back. I had the most perfect skin and 4 years ago, my skin broke out badly and after the stress i decided to go to a dermotologist that prescribed the harshest treatment, antibiotics and a topical that left my skin so sensitive. As a result my skin has been left with dents, massive pores and odd spots. My skin really does get me down and i find myself thinking about it all day every day. For me, the pores are the biggest pain, i don't think things like retinol will help me especially since it's only made my pores larger! I guess reassurance is what i need :( How would you suggest i start? Thank you, Charlie xx
HiI'm only 18 so I like to go out and drink but I've got very red blotchy skin, enlarged pores and big red spots - I think it's the beginning of rosacea. Sometimes my skin looks normal and nice, just slighly rosy. But more than often it is a deep shade of red, bumpy and very hot to touch. I also blush/flush very easily. I am wanting to go on this raw food diet, but I don't want to give up alcohol as I'm only eighteen and want to be normal like other eighteen year olds :( Do you think I'll still feel the benefit of a raw food diet if I drank once every other month? Blaah hate my face :(
Hello,Firstly I would like to say thank you so much for giving me a second of hope about my facial skin which has so much going on...enlarged pores, acne, acne scars, patchy,, blackheads, facial hair (all over my cheeks).....I lose hope when I look in the mirror and hate going outside or even giving people eye contact, I feel so hurt that I don't know what I've done to deserve this punishment which puts me down so much no matter how much I force myself to be careless about it...it's so hard for me to have hope because of every other trial failing on me...but I am genuinely happy for you that you are 'cured' from what you thought were your imperfections....:-)
Can you update your status.....how is your skin and any new news?!
